What "Outside of Ordinary" Means to Me:
Trying new things, taking risks and drawing connections outside your major. It means moving beyond the core curriculum to take advantage of the diverse programs and opportunities here at Alfred.

Favorite Place in Alfred:
CD Smith Theatre - the experimental black box space in the Miller Performing Arts Center. This space can be painted or arranged in countless ways to create the best space for performance and storytelling.

Fun Fact or Hobby:
Even though I didn't pursue theatre as a career, I am still involved in local community theatre in Bath, NY and have directed, acted in and costumed numerous productions.

Check your email often! Most of our instructions and follow-up is sent out via email, so make sure you apply using an account you use regularly - at least two to three times per week - so you don't miss any steps.
